چکیده
Abstract Objectives: The purpose of this study is to compare the tensile strength different types surgical suture materials. Materials and Methods: Current study, strengths 4 materials made were compared. [(1-4/0 silk 2- 4/0 propylene 3-4/0 Polyamide 4- Poly[Glycolide-Co-L-Lactide](90%:10%) (PGLA) suture)] a total 40 samples was calculated, with 10 in each group. In sutures calculated using universal tester, tightened both poles test device fixed distance 15 mm between poles, force applied so that moved away from other at speed 25cm/min until broke, value moment brake recorded Newton units (N) as suture.Statistical analysis data evaluated by One-Way ANOVA Tukey HSD tests. Results: statistical materials, difference tension resistance PGLA not statistically significant, but all significant (p <0.05). Tensile determined propylene, polyamide, pgla suture, respectively. Conclusion:Within limitation study. It has been stated may be more advantageous than PGLA, ,polyamide suture. Keywords: Sutures ,Tensile ,Break

Tensile Bond Strength between Soft Liners and Two Chemically Different Denture Base Materials: Effect of Thermocycling.
PURPOSE The bond strength of soft denture liner to a recently introduced denture base resin after thermocycling has not been compared to traditional denture base materials. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of thermocycling on the tensile bond strength of soft denture liners to two chemically different denture base resins, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and urethane dim...
متن کاملTensile strength of tablets containing two materials with a different compaction behaviour.
The tensile strength of tablets compressed from binary mixtures is in general not linearly related to the strength of tablets prepared from single materials; in many cases it shows a decreased tensile strength relative to interpolation. The materials used in this study, sodium chloride and pregelatinised starch, are both plastically deforming materials, but have a different densification and re...
متن کاملComparison of polymer-based temporary crown and fixed partial denture materials by diametral tensile strength
PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to investigate the diametral tensile strength of polymer-based temporary crown and fixed partial denture (FPD) materials, and the change of the diametral tensile strength with time. MATERIAL AND METHODS One monomethacrylate-based temporary crown and FPD material (Trim) and three dimethacrylate-based ones (Protemp 3 Garant, Temphase, Luxtemp) were investig...
متن کاملEvaluation of Tensile Bond Strength between Dentin and Metallic Copings Using Different Resin Cements
Statement of the Problem: For a successful clinical outcome, luting agents should have a high bond strength. Bond failure is still one of the main reasons of restoration failures. Purpose: The present study was designed to comparatively evaluate the retention of metallic copings using different resin luting cements. Materials and Method: In the present experimental study, 40 intact premolar tee...
